St. Leon 10 Residence - Bantry Bay, Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa
  • Built: 2006

Overlooking one of the most spectacular coastlines in the world with unprecedented views of the 12 Apostle Mountains, Clifton Beaches and Robben Island in South Africa, the altruistically modern luxury St Leon 10 Residence is located near the Lion’s Head Nature Reserve in Cape Town’s most exclusive ‘wind free’ suburb of Bantry Bay.

With approximately 50% of the building structure cut into a rock-faced slope, the upper levels of the residence seem as if they are floating over the natural ground level exaggerating the height of the building while offering stunningly gorgeous southwest facing views of Cape Town over the cantilevered terraces of the home.

Designed as a elegant yet very private family retreat with a casual ambiance of relaxation, the luxury St Leon 10 Residence was purposely architected in a linear manner so that all major rooms face the sea view while the rear of the house was designed to offer the ultimate in privacy and security with no openings other than the glazed double volume entrance space that is shielded by a steel framed timber screen that includes access off the street through heavy timber gates with monitored CCTV cameras and privacy fencing.
