A striking combination of simple geometric forms and a neutral material palette were combined to create this sensational minimalistic luxury beachfront residence located in the northern Israeli village of Shavei Tzion. Characterized by a confluence of modern design and geometric form, the residence was architected with a cantilevered concrete box that seems to almost hover over a glass-walled ground floor, reaching out towards the sights and sounds of the sea.
Designed with a façade of white aluminum cladding, with narrow horizontal openings that create both shadow lines and allow daylight to enter the residence, this recurring theme is evident in the balustrades of the first-floor gallery, creating a direct connection between the interior and the west-facing cantilever. The upper storey’s cantilevered section intentionally draws the eye towards the open vista to the west.
Looking directly onto t eh sea, this stunning residence was created to envelope the senses with a minimalistic architectural design that would not produce visual noise. The house was intentionally architected to be open to the sea and have an uncluttered design that draws your focus directly across the scrublands leading to the beach and to the openness of the Mediterranean Sea beyond.
