- Type: Interior Design
- Style: Minimalistic Classical
In the project, minimalistic design solutions are combined with classical, active color elements with neutral and gray tones. Because of this balance, the interior turned out to be laconic, harmonious, unsaturated and very original.
By far the brightest accent that sets the tone for the entire interior, and lends a feminine touch, is an artistic mural panel with lively expression based on the creative work of the Flemish painter Jan van Huysum.
Compared with the main wall the rest of the color placement of the interior is much quieter, but no less original. A king-sized sofa in the loggia with panoramic views of the city creates an atmosphere of luxury and comfort. At the same time, the original chandelier in the high ceiling of the living room adds greatness to the atmosphere.
Originally, in apartment’s layout, access to the balconies with panoramic windows had small doorways. The natural solution was to combine rooms with balconies, allowing natural light to fill the space and discover stunning views of downtown and the old botanical garden.
The combination of rooms with loggias allowed the space to be filled with natural light and a stunning view of the city center and the old botanical garden. With very few partitions, the delineation of space and room division was provided by a glass sliding door system and drapery fabrics.
To fill the interior, we used local resources: all cabinet furniture, mirrored consoles, metal work, mirrors were produced in Studio Manka, and textile decoration and upholstered furniture were created by Design-Alliance. The main lighting is the Italian factory SLAMP, the Flos living room tocher designed by Philippe Starck, one of the client’s favorite designers.
