House alteration is always a challenge, because its owner will be attentive to every little thing. Clients cannot always realize their own desires, and designers need not only to embody main features, but also to predict clients preferences in many aspects. This is exactly what the team of ARCHPOINT bureau succeeded in renovating a private house in the village of Zhukovka nearby Moscow in Russia. In this project, the main task was to carefully, but radically remake the old interior for a new young family at the same time. The work involved all the premises, the total area of โ€‹โ€‹which is more than 200 square meters.

The interior of the house turned out to be truly spectacular, but public and strict. The architects achieved this effect with calm colors, expensive natural materials (such as marble, stone and wood), sophisticated furniture of world brands (IPE Cavalli, Fendi), elegant chandeliers and thoughtful layout.

The desire of the client was to preserve the designer furniture and seamlessly integrate it into the new environment. This idea was implemented on the first floor. Many interior items have been preserved and the layout has been slightly changed. Due to this fact, the comfortable furniture is sparkling with new colors. The designers kept the large couch, armchairs, coffee tables, elegant kitchen table and chandeliers.

On the first floor, a dark calm tone serves as a contrasting backdrop for the fireplace and the marble staircase, made of black and white Dalmatian marble. The fireplace portal is decorated with Lithos Design light stone panels with 3D effect. There is a stone staircase made of the same marble with a characteristic pattern of stone opposite the fireplace.

The second floor with two master bedrooms has been completely redone. Interestingly, during the alteration, none of the designers knew which one would become the master bedroom.

The first โ€œTurquoiseโ€ bedroom is designed in the contrast of turquoise shades of the fabric and the golden “liquid metal” coating that is used on wall panels and furniture. The โ€œBrownโ€ bedroom turned out to be stricter, because of a combination of beige enamel and a rich palette of American walnut.

In both spaces the walls with the headboards are highlighted as accents. If in โ€œTurquoiseโ€ bedroom it is made of natural Lithos marble with backlighting, then in โ€œBrownโ€ the wall accentuates with a smooth relief pattern imitating marble made of plaster. The furniture in both bedrooms was chosen to match the main color of the interior. Volumetric chandeliers and local lighting are managing the lighting of the bedrooms. It is important that all combinations turned to be very light, and the spaces of the bedrooms got a lot of air.

Both bedrooms are adjoined by succinctly decorated bathrooms, decorated in accordance with the color scheme – light and dark. Tabletops and mirrors of IP Cavalli are framed with graceful frames. And, of course, the authors have provided several options for lighting – from main lighting to spot lighting under the sink and bathtub.

Special attention was paid to wardrobes. Both rooms were also decorated in colors introduced in the bedrooms. Designers placed functional cabinets made by domestic craftsmen, as well as chests of drawers and IP Cavalli cosmetic table.

Thanks to the work of designers, the entire space of the house has become unified and attractive. At the same time, the entire zone remained self-sufficient and now meets not only the functional purpose, but also has a unique character.
