This is the M6’s strongest genuine advantage.
Its 16.5-inch (42 cm) floating deck is wider than the LUBA 2’s 15.7-inch dual disc, and its blade motor peaks at 1,500 W against Mammotion’s 165 W cutting motors. The M6 also ships two interchangeable blade systems: dual rotary mulching blades for thick, fast-growing grass, or a dual razor-disc set (2ร6 blades) for quieter precision maintenance.
Most importantly, the M6 covers 1 to 4 inches of cutting height in one machine. The LUBA 2 makes you choose at purchase: the X variant handles 1.0โณโ2.7โณ, the H variant 2.2โณโ4.0โณ. Buy the wrong one and you’re stuck with it.
Round 3: Navigation – A Real Draw
The M6’s CyberNavโข fusion stack combines nRTK,RTK, VSLAM, IMU and wheel odometry, stores maps up to 60,000 mยฒ (15 acres), and supports unlimited zones. QuadVision’s four AI cameras recognize 200+ object types.
The LUBA 2 pairs RTK with UltraSense AI Vision, also recognizing 200+ objects, and can mow under dense tree cover for extended stretches without satellite signal. It manages up to 50 zones on the 5000-series and adds Alexa and Google Home voice control โ which the M6 doesn’t advertise.
Sensor count favors GOKO. Field-proven behavior under canopy favors Mammotion.
Round 4: Published Environmental Specs – Mammotion, Narrowly
Mammotion publishes hard numbers: the LUBA 2 is rated at 60 dB, carries IPX6 water resistance on the mower and charging station (IPX7 on the RTK station), and confirms rain detection.
The GOKO M6 operates at a noise level below 62 dB(A) in “trimming mode.” It features an IP66 waterproof and dustproof rating, designed to withstand rainy weather and allow for easy rinsing; additionally, it monitors weather conditions and automatically returns to base when the weather worsens.
Round 5: Coverage and Track Record – Split
The LUBA 2 AWD 5000X is rated for 1.25 acres with roughly 180 minutes of runtime. The M6’s expandable dual-battery architecture runs 120 minutes on one battery (about 0.5 acre) or 240 minutes on two (a full acre per charge), reaching up to 2 acres per day with scheduling.
On pedigree, both have industrial parents: Mammotion inherits technology from AgileX Robotics, which has run over 1,500 robotics projects across 26 countries. GOKO is backed by Robot++, with a decade in industrial robotics. Neither is a garage startup. Only one has two seasons of consumer field data.
Which Should You Buy?
Choose the GOKO M6 if your lawn is the reason robot mowers have failed you before โ a 40ยฐ+ bank, exposed roots, gravel edges, a muddy corner. The wider deck, the far higher blade power, and the single-machine 1โ4โณ height range make it the more capable robot lawn mower on paper, and the 90% grade rating is not a claim any rival is currently matching. Accept that you’re an early backer.
Choose the LUBA 2 AWD if you want the best robot lawn mower you can order this afternoon, with published noise and ingress ratings, a rain sensor, voice control, and thousands of owners ahead of you. It climbs 80% grades, which is more than almost any lawn requires.
The honest summary: GOKO is selling capability. Mammotion is selling certainty. At this price, that’s the actual decision.
