Located amongst the tree lined streets of one of Lisbon’s central thoroughfares, lies this transformation of a 1960s apartment. An extensive renovation that was broken into two phases, first focusing on the architectural interposition and second on the interior decor.
In the interior design of this apartment, Cristina Jorge de Carvalho followed mainly the neutral color palette of the architectural project, with pops of color and contrasts delivered by the mix of materials. Opposing the cold of the travertine stone and stainless steel, materials very much present in the architecture, the interior design brings warmth and comfort through the choice of materials like woods, upholstery, silk and wool of the rugs.
