A Taste of Vegas Luxury – The Bellagio Hotel

Bellagio Casino and Hotel - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

Of all the casino destinations around the world, Las Vegas still has to rate as number one. There is no escaping the buzz of the Strip, with its garish lights, exciting energy, and unique atmosphere. There are thousands of places to eat fantastic cuisine from around the globe, enjoy top class entertainment from some of the world’s elite performers, and of course the omnipresent lure of the grand casinos. But after a long day or night at the card tables and slot machines you’ll need a place to lay your head, and those who desire a taste of luxury will find themselves well catered for at the Bellagio.

Hotel and Casino

Situated on the Strip, the Bellagio is probably the most famous and iconic of all luxury Vegas hotels. Its location hits the jackpot, situated between Caesars Palace and Aria, with an outdoor walkway to Caesars and a tram running to Aria.

Fans of the World Series of Poker won’t be disappointed either — it’s a stone’s throw from the famous Horseshoe Casino, formerly known as Bally’s, which according to the 2025 WSOP schedule will host the prestigious tournament this year. Bellagio guests can expect an unparalleled experience, taking in fine dining, contemporary art exhibits, and of course, top-notch casino gambling. The rooms are opulent, with different design concepts throughout the hotel, and luxurious bathrooms in which to unwind after taking in everything else Vegas has to offer.

The Fountains

One of the principal attractions of the Bellagio are its fountains, situated on a massive man-made lake in front of the hotel. The musical fountain show is free, and has become part of the fabric of Las Vegas, drawing in millions of visitors to witness its breathtaking spectacle. It’s actually visible from outside the resort grounds, so passersby can take in the 460-foot-high water jets and incredible light show, and is one of the most photographed sites in the United States. It was, until 2009, the biggest musical fountain show in the world, until it was overtaken by The Dubai Fountain. On occasion, the fountains are used as a dramatic backdrop for other shows, with stages set up on the lake to encompass music performances, and are also a popular site for couples celebrating their weddings.

“O” by Cirque du Soleil

There are many other things to enjoy at the Bellagio, from the Michelin-starred restaurants Le Cirque and Picasso to the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art, which features rotating exhibitions from contemporary artists. But top of the list of attractions has to be “O”, the stunning show by Cirque du Soleil, an aquatic-themed production that combines acrobatic performances, high diving, synchronized swimming and a surreal narrative structure. It’s performed on a huge stage that transforms into a vast water pool, and is soundtracked by a hauntingly beautiful score that brings the performance to life.

The Bellagio is much more than a hotel. With myriad attractions, beautiful decor, fine-dining, and a fantastic casino, it’s surely one of the best high-end resorts in Las Vegas, ideal for those with a taste for all things opulent.
