1. International Airport

If you want to land in a great hub then Da Nang is a great place to start your Vietnam tour. You can easily access other parts of Vietnam from the international airport which makes it simple for you when you’re wanting to see multiple places vs. just going to one spot.

When you’re choosing Da Nang hotels, you might want to look for one that is close to the airport for easy arrival and departure.

2. Bridge Overload

If you love looking at interesting and beautiful bridges, Da Nang has plenty of bridges for your viewing pleasure. When you’re in Da Nang, you can’t miss the very interesting Dragon bridge. On the weekends at 9:00 PM, you can stop by to see the dragon breathe fire and water.

There are other bridges that change colors and have a unique structure and you’re sure to find more than a few that turn your head.

3. Beaches for Miles

Da Nang has 57 miles of coastline where you can bask in the sun’s warm rays. You’ll find the three separate beach areas to be a little different from the other ones.

In the north part of Da Nang, you’ll find white sand, blue water, and fewer tourist but you along won’t have the luxury of facilities there. In the middle, you’ll find the rockier beaches and in the south, you’ll find the busier beaches that are closer to the accommodations.

4. Hail a Taxi

Since Da Nang is fairly spread out, your best bet is to hail a taxi. You’re not going to be able to grab an Uber since these types of services are pretty much banned here, so don’t even bother.

If you try to go it on foot, you won’t be able to make it to your destination without being winded and likely grossly undercalculating how long it would take you to get there.

5. Enjoy Some Good Eats

When you’re in Da Nang, you might not find your favorite food, but there are some good options. Try doing a food tour if you aren’t sure what you should eat and what is going to be the easiest for you to try as a Westerner.
