One of LA’s fastest rising interior design stars Maxime Jacquet labels himself as #thebadboyofdesign. He has quickly earned himself an elite status in the design industry as a curator and designer of lifestyles with a signature eclectic vibe that is a fusion of high fashion with vibrant modish and popish elements.
This captivating futuristic design twist on a mid-century modern residence in Beverly Hills, was completed by Maxime in 2014. The environment was transformed into a fun uplifting space that emotes a jet-set lifestyle. A custom neon signal graces the walls for a playful touch, and you can even interact in with the room and scribble on a chalkboard wall or just lounge in the metallic sofas and chairs. The colors are a collection of calming yellows, whites and off whites, a bit of taupe and polished with a modern pop of black.
Maxime loves to create interior visions that incorporate pieces into a space that would typically never be placed next to one another, whether spanning style or period, and create an unexpected contrast. Black and white offset by bold pops of color through Contemporary art and photography throw a twist on an unexpected foundation.
