Tracing the horizon out to the infinite sea, Casa Del Infinito sits on the marvellous beachfront cove at the water’s edge of Zahara de los Atunes facing the Atlantic Ocean on a piece of earthly paradise at Caldiz in southern Spain. This breathtaking house seems as if it is capable of making time stand still. It stirs not only wonderment but resounding emotions of those that stand on its bare and denuded surface to gaze out to the distant horizon at this house of the infinate.

Built as an horizontal plane facing the infinite sea, this radical luxury residence emerges from the terrain as a stone platform that is a podium crowned by Roman travertine with an upper horizontal surface that becomes the protagonist of the living spaces below. Inside the podium, underneath this platform is the house.

Like a temenos, a meeting-place, where according to Geek mythology, humans and gods come together, this podium residence was created as if it were an acropolis in stone and roman travertine rising out from the sand facing the infinite sea. Nothing more and nothing less. Beauty is in simplicity.
