Built in 1902 for Albert H. Olmsted, a Hartford Banker, Wildacre is an iconic Newport, Rhode Island landmark. The recipient of numerous prestigious awards and accolades, the estate is listed in the National Registrar of Historical Places.

A collaborative effort between San Diego Architect, Irving Gill and renowned landscape architect, Frederick Law Olmsted, Wildacre was originally created as a summer estate in The Hamptons. The striking residence includes a series of terraces retained by stonewalls that bow at the neck of the cove, shielding a magnificent infinity pool, which falls away to breathtaking views of the ocean beyond.

Located on a coveted stretch of Newport’s oceanfront in the affluent Price’s Neck Cove, the $15.75 million 8,180 sq. ft. 7 bedroom, 6-bath estate was purchased by billionaire Campbell Soup heiress, Dorrance Hamilton in 1997.
