Sometimes things are just too good to be true and that’s exactly the situation we face with this gorgeous design by Ukrainian architect Igor Sirotev. This elegant black and white interior design is a visualization of a concept for the space within a small house at a lake. The simply elegant environment achieves an inspiringly modern yet, minimalistic composition of natural textures and materials.
Sirotev states that he conceived this as a small lodge for himself as a place where he would like to work. He embodied his vision in 3D reality with the most important element being the landscape of the location. He has always been inspired to live in such a place by a lake where at any point of orientation from the house, a smooth view of the water surface opens before you.
Inspired by the clean lines and uniform elements of Japanese architecture, in particular the creativity of Todao Ando, the House at the Lake design concept closely weaves architecture and the environment using a contrast of forms and materials. Concrete, stone, and wood all seamlessly blend to create a structured symphony of attributes that contrast the tangible neutrality of this contemporary design.
