Representing a spacious 2,700 sq. ft. bungalow that erases the barriers between indoor and outdoor living, Loft 24-7 was a display suite created by designer Fernanda Marques Arquitetos Associados at the Casa Cor exhibition held in Sao Paulo, Brazil from May 26 to July 14, 2009.
The contemporary interior design of the model home draws on natural elements with an intense use of daylight and open space that blurs the boundary between nature and architecture amalgamating it into one beautiful harmonious environment.
“Being inside feeling like one is outside. I believe that to be a key issue in understanding the interior design being produced today. In times when environmental awareness is growing, and, of course, also the desire to be close to nature”, said Marques. She placed her design philosophy for the display concept somewhere in between a country villa and a modernist home created by one of her inspirational masters, German architect Mies van der Rohe.
